Bilingual Marketing Coordinator (14 month contract)

Under the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager, the Bilingual Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for creating sales tools such as sell sheets and new product announcements in both English and French, coordinating ad bookings and producing various publications and reports. Works with various internal departments to complete work as well as build relationships with external partners. In addition, assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for assigned tasks, actively participates in education/training to increase job knowledge, and maintain up to date documentation as required/assigned.  Performs other marketing related tasks and projects as required by UNFI Canada.

JOB TYPE: 14 Month Contract (Maternity Leave coverage)


  • Assumes responsibility for managing assigned and related tasks, establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination and working relations with internal company personnel and external customers (suppliers, production partners, contractors, etc.)


  • Provides assistance and support as needed/assigned.

  • Assists and supports Marketing department in addition to other departments within the company organization as needed/assigned.

  • Keeps management informed of area activities and of issues/concerns.

  • Prepares documentation/reporting as required.

  • Performs additional duties as needed/assigned.



  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Marketing, Business or equivalent preferred

  • Additional related training preferred


  • 2-3 years previous marketing experience in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Previous experience with translation work and managing social media accounts for new and/or established brands.

Required Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of marketing functions, procedures, and standards.

  • Prior industry knowledge of marketing strategies and consumer package goods (CPG) is an asset. 


  • Proficiency in both the English & French languages including written and verbal communication.

  • Well organized with strong planning skills. Attention to detail.

  • Quality orientation.

  • Able to organize multiple projects.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access) is required.
