Job Overview: 

The E-Commerce Development team plays a critical role from building and managing our e-commerce websites and internal web-based applications to working with other departments to identify opportunities of improvement in functionality, usability and optimization. The ideal candidate for the role is an entrepreneurial self-starter who is comfortable taking ownership over assigned projects while working collaboratively in an Agile team environment. The person will need to work with colleagues at all levels of the organization and must be comfortable gathering and organizing information that translates into usable requirements.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Web Development team to identify web systems needs and solutions
  • Configure, design, and develop solutions including key integrations to 3rd party solutions
  • Coach and train business users on proper use of the system
  • Monitor and track system processing and performance indicators to ensure business requirements are being met
  • Participate on project teams to deliver new functionality
  • Maintain state of the art understanding of website and mobile platform capabilities
  • Work closely with Salesforce and other 3rd party solutions providers to enhance our business capabilities

 

Job Requirements:

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Magento (Magento 2) required

Knowledge:

  • Web Development experience using LAMP Stack technologies
  • Extensive experience on Frontend development with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript and JS Frameworks - Knockout JS and JQuery preffered
  • Commanding experience on Backend Development with PHP, Magento, Ngenix, MySQL
  • Magento Certification and experience working with Magento Cloud is a plus
  • Experience working with a B2B Marketplace and Order Management systems(OMS)is a plus
  • Ability to develop APIs (REST and SOAP)
  • Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager, SEO, Google Analytics, PPC, and A/B Testing
  • Experience on Modern Build and Release practices
  • Working experience with modern Caching and Search practices including but not limited to Redis, ElasticSearch, Apache Solr
  • Experience with Headless and Progressive Web Application (PWA) a plus
  • Working knowledge of DevOps practices

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,strong customer focus and interpersonal skills,with the demonstrated ability to work in geographically dispersed teams
  • Apply logical thought process and ability to learn newsystems,concepts and procedures
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrate basic analytical and conceptual skills used todefine technical needs and solve technical problems
