Job Overview:
The Office Services Clerk II will gather, sort, and distribute paper documents and packages. As well as a variety of office clerical/ support duties.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Uses MS Suite (WORD, EXCEL,) to update department files & mail sorting bins
- Sorting Mail by name or department
- Delivering Mail / packages to appropriate departments using a 4-wheel cart
- Keeping accurate records of work volumes
- Driving company vehicle to campus buildings to deliver mail / packages
- Uses Vendor applications for receiving & shipping packages
- Uses postage meter to apply postage to out-going mail.
- Ability to use multi-function printer for mailing projects (labels, etc.)
- Assists others by answering questions
- Compiles weekly reports and sends to appropriate parties
- Sorts, organizes, and/or alphabetizes specific office forms such as applications.
- Maintains records and files.
- Reviews forms, correcting information with approval from more senior dept staff.
- Keys information into input screens.
- Inputs information into computer formatted reports.
- Answers telephone and routes inquires to appropriate party for resolution.
- Searches for data in files.
- Completes filing.
- Logs reports, mail, supplies, etc., for department.
Education:
- High School, or equivalent
Knowledge/Skills:
• Basic reading and writing skills (English)
• Basic math skills to complete one step math calculations: addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
• Ability to follow verbal or written communications
• Ability to organize and alphabetize data files
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload
• Keyboarding skills at a level to complete work assignments
• Basic working knowledge of common PC applications: word-processing, spreadsheet
• Ability to trouble shoot basic issues to determine cause.
• Can communicate both verbally, and electronically, with all levels of organization in a professional manner.
• Has a valid driver’s license in the state of Minnesota

Compensation:
UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. UNFI is committed to transparency in pay in compliance with applicable state and local laws.

Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $1,000 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
