Job Overview:

The Creative Operations and Data Manager oversees the operational aspects of the Brands+ Creative team. This position is responsible for managing the workflow of the creative team, ensuring that all projects are completed within the allocated budget, adhering to timelines, and maintaining high-quality standards. They will the end-to-end delivery and maintenance of digital content across various platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of the creative process, project management, and data management. The Creative Operations and Data Manager has exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Management (45%)

• Evaluate and prioritize Brands+ project requests based on business goals.

• Coordinate project kick-off meetings with internal stakeholders to define project scope,

objectives, and deliverables.

• Assign tasks to team members, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of projects.

• Track project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement mitigation strategies.

• Communicate project status updates to stakeholders and provide regular reports on project performance.

• Conduct regular project status meetings to provide updates on project milestones and address any issues or challenges.

• Collaborate with the Sr. Brand Creative Manager and cross-functional teams to develop efficient processes that produce exceptional results.

• Utilize Microsoft tools, TraceOne, and DragonFLY to create tasks, proof, route projects and monitor KPIs.

Vendor Management:

• Coordinate with external partners and vendors to oversee projects to ensure they meet quality and deadline expectations.

Scope Management:

• Manage project scope by monitoring changes and ensuring they are properly documented and approved.

• Prevent scope creep by adhering to the project's original objectives.

Workflow Optimization & Quality Control :

• Identify bottlenecks in the creative process and implement solutions to improve efficiency.

• Collect feedback from stakeholders to make necessary revisions.

• Project Dashboard Management

• Share relevant project KPIs to Brands+ Management: project progress, deliverables completed per week, etc.

Data & Image Management for Syndigo, Salsify, myUNFI, OneDrive, IX-One, OneWorld Sync and SharePoint (30%)

• Upload high-quality product images, ensuring they meet the platform's specifications for size, format, and resolution.

• Organize images effectively within the platform to facilitate easy retrieval and syndication.

• Work closely with product business management, brand marketing, and sales operations to deliver missing images or update outdated images to all platforms to support our customers.

• Manage and catalog all renders for active projects in the Brands+ stage gate process.

• Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure the accuracy of product images across all channels.

• Proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes, enhance image quality, and drive efficiencies in product content management and syndication on all channels.

• Be the single point of contact with internal IT teams regarding creative and support for myUNFI.

• Manage our Digital Asset Management as requested (OneDrive & DAM maintenance as required).

Additional Duties (15%)

• Responsible for uploading and archiving files to corresponding project folders on SharePoint for team access.

• Manage Print of Demand website management:

o Responsible for refreshing creative on site

o Responsible for maintaining and auditing Print on Demand assets on the ordering site

Invoicing for creative projects.

Tradeshow Management and Execution (10%)

• Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales Ops team to execute the event requirements.

• Provides stakeholders with timely updates on project milestones.

• Coordinate the design and production of tradeshow graphics, collateral, packaging samples, and displays

• Performs other relevant job duties as required.

Job Requirements:

Education/ Certifications/or Equivalent combination of education training and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or business preferred or equivalent related experience and training.

Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management is required, significant experience in a creative department is preferred.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

• Exceptional written and verbal cross-functional communication skills.

• Strong sense of urgency and project management skills.

• Team player.

• Highly motivated / self-starter.

• Ability to prioritize a multitude of tasks.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage various projects at the same time.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to problem solve and pivot to the needs of the business.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

• Knowledge of the types of print and digital creative deliverables.

• Knowledge of implementing and utilizing technologies that support a creative team, such as workflow/project management and digital asset management (DAM) systems.

• Expert at prioritization, you can evaluate the needs of multiple stakeholders and make decisions as to which initiatives are (and are not) critical to the business.

• Proven track record of facilitating best-in-class creative work.

• Some travel may be required.

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
