Join the UNFI Urbana Team in a FLEX schedule warehouse position and receive:

  • $22.75/hr to start with pay increase to $26.85/hr upon hitting 100% productivity
    • +$2.00/hr Weekend Premium
    • +$2.00/hr Freezer Premium
    • +$1.25/hr 2nd Shift Premium 
  • Weekly paychecks with option to withdraw early (One@Work)
  • YOU pick your schedule based on open shifts by setting start and end times
  • Days available to pick-up schedules include Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
  • Wellness Program, Remodeled breakrooms, On-site Gym, Discounted Childcare services and 401k

Job Responsibilities:

  • Only requirement is to work 1 scheduled shift on Sunday each week
  • Days available to pick-up schedules include Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
  • Selects a variety of product utilizing a Vocollect Headset.
  • Transports products safety through the warehouse on electric pallet jacks.
  • Maintains order selection performance and standards of speed and accuracy with minimum damage.
  • Ensures the labels and pallets are accurate.
  • Build stable and well cubed pallets.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and sense of teamwork.
  • Assists other departments with work activities as needed.
  • Builds strong relationships within the warehouse to promote safe and respectful working environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting objects 30 lbs. weighing up to 100 lbs. consistently
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Pushing, sitting, touching, reaching, climbing, pulling, and gripping
  • Willing to work in temperature-controlled and non-temperature-controlled environments
  • Steel toe or composite toe footwear is required

Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
