Job Overview:

The Revenue Growth Management Analyst will develop, design, and create tools & processes that provide key analytics. The role will develop and utilize reporting and processes to assess, analyze, and identify deficiencies, root causes, and opportunities to solve & drive revenue growth. The role will design analytics to drive organizational initiatives and strategic projects and ensure improvement plans are in place. The role will assist in developing and monitoring strategy, solutions, guardrails, and policies relative to pricing and promotions based on revenue management strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

Analytics, Tools, Reporting

• Supports development and maintenance of scalable revenue growth management tools and reporting. Enabling speed in insights to action.

• Ensures data integrity across various systems that feed revenue growth management tools.

• Performs advanced variance analysis, including process and price modeling, sales analysis, regional pricing, and cost impact, and other direct or indirect margin-related programs incorporating data from different areas.

• Articulates revenue strategy based on competitive intelligence, syndicated data, and internal DataMart, Teradata, and Tableau to conduct long-range modeling to provide recommendations and solutions.

• Research and bring new ideas to analyze current strategy.

• Develops and provides ownership of complex modeling analysis.

• Track competitive landscape- identify and propose key business opportunities in Pricing, Promotion, and Supply Chain. Champions the use of data-driven insights to strengthen RGM strategy and execution.

• Responsible for complex reporting processes on key functional KPI's. Owns communication and analysis associated with reporting efforts.

• Support the business with external negotiation by building data-driven stories for recommended

strategies.

• Performs advanced trend analysis - incorporates data from different areas and synthesizes findings

incorporate cross-functional impacts, trends, and industry news.

• Supports and implements data-driven process improvements across functional areas.

• Proven ability to analyze business processes and provide suggestions for improvement.

• Contributes to business efforts around system development needs to execute the strategies around

pricing, margin, and chargebacks.

• Ability to manage multiple, diverse tasks with inter-relationships across processes. Work

requires the direct application of a variety of procedures, policies, and/or precedents.

• Supports all vital business reporting for pricing, costing, and margin oversight. Participates in and sometimes leads cross-department white-boarding/problem-solving sessions

• Performs other relevant job duties as required.

Job Requirements:

Education/ Certifications/or Equivalent combination of education training and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or equivalent experience

Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience, with proven success in complex business opportunities.

• Experience with Alteryx; SQL; Power BI; Python preferred.

• Project Management experience is strongly preferred.

• Pricing strategy, discounting rules and regulations, and best practices for large-scale Software rollouts, AP/AR, and supplier relations experience.

• Financial modeling experience.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

• Advanced skillset in Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Teams, and other related applications.

• Strong teamwork ethic, positive proactive flexible attitude ability to take complete ownership of responsibilities.

• Ability to create complex queries to support AdHoc reporting and database design.

• Excellent organizational and relationship skills.

• Strong work ethic with a positive, proactive, and flexible attitude.

• Must be self-driven and very motivated.

• Ability to work under pressure and time constraints as well as handle several tasks simultaneously required.

• Strong Strategic Planning, Financial and Operations / Business Background. Not purely financial background.

• Communicate effectively, strong communications skills across multiple levels of the company.

• Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, diplomacy, and judgment.

• Deliver customer value; providing solutions and insight that deliver customer-centric results.

• Project Management experience is strongly preferred.

• Must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

• Able to navigate through a complex matrix of cross-functional considerations to guide strategic solutions and translate them into revenue drivers.

• Strong understanding and command of Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and other related applications.

• Strong business acumen and outstanding analytical skills (numerical, verbal).

• Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, diplomacy, and judgment.

• Deliver customer value; providing solutions and insight that deliver customer-centric results.

• Some travel may be required.

Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
