JOB OVERVIEW:
The Director of Process Transformation is responsible for developing, leading and implementing the SAP ERP Transformation with a focus on business process. This role leads a team responsible for deploying MDG, SAP and the new processes that leverage the technology. In addition to implementation, process governance will be a strong factor in rolling out the technology as well as UNFI’s future. The Director of Process Transformation will work with various teams to capture, document, design, measure and monitor business processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Process Strategy:
- Responsible for partnering with the business and technology leaders to implement Procure to Pay, Order to Cash and Record to Report during SAP ERP Transformation
- Oversees and leads a cross-functional and business process team to deploy the full cycle review of business processes, from existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement and designing new processes to enhance efficiency
- Sets and determines strategy in agreement with business leaders, sets overall performance objectives and facilitates senior level development and debrief sessions with leaders of cross functional teams
- Leads and deploys the business process portfolio roadmap and manages process review rhythms
- Collaborates across multiple teams to ensure alignment and support for projects (finance, resources, goals and objectives)
- Develops key performance indicators (KPIs) and deploys management to appropriate teams
- Ensures processes comply with legal requirements and company policies, advises on areas of risks and recommendations for mitigating
Leadership & Coaching:
- Develops inclusive environments and develops effective relationships with business unit leaders, acts as a liaison between senior leaders and process owners
- Shares expertise and knowledge with others in the organization, increasing internal knowledge on best practices
- Leads teams through change management to ensure smooth implementation and transitions will minimal disruptions
- Promotes an environment of innovative thinking in designing solutions to meet the business and technology needs and motivate team members to embrace new and different technologies
- Creates and overseas departmental capital and expense budgets for projects, staffing (internal/external), etc. and ensures value has been added to the business through cost savings and ROI analyses
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/ Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, business management, or related discipline
Experience:
- 8-12 years of relevant leadership and business process experience
- 5+ years’ experience in process creations and visualization, including end to end processing, measurement creation and implementation, monitoring that allows for continuous improvement
- Experience developing strategies that have proven business value
- Experience in developing strategic partnerships and leading teams to partner with determined relationships
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced enterprise resource planning application knowledge, SAP preferred
- Ability to learn current state business processes, current state SAP processes and translate into business process documentation
- Advanced knowledge in Lean process skills or similar disciplines
- Communication skills that include situational presentation depending on level, up to senior level leadership
- Collaboration skills that demonstrate an understanding of others and adapts to meet teams where they are
- Change management skills that demonstrate the ability to deal with ambiguity and changing circumstances
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
Work Environment:
Remote Role:
- This position is classified as remote where the associate will perform remote work from their primary residence. Remote associates are welcome to work from the office but are not required to do so. While remote associates are not required to work from an office on a regular basis, they may be required to come to the office or other UNFI locations for necessary business reasons or if directed to do so by their manager.
Travel (minor):
- This position may require the associate to travel to company offices, distribution centers, or other locations for specific meetings or other business reasons.

Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
