We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Compliance Coordinator to join our Risk & Safety team!

Position Purpose: 
As a Transportation Compliance Coordinator, you will provide essential support to the Transportation Departments across our distribution centers. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain records and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations related to Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.

Key Responsibilities:  
- Review Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR), Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP), Clearinghouse records, and employment applications to assess driver applicants.  
- Conduct thorough MVR assessments for each driver applicant and collaborate with Workforce Integrity to ensure background and drug testing clearance.  
- Assist with pre-employment driver verifications in partnership with the TPA Background vendor.  
- Review and approve DOT physicals to ensure compliance with health standards.  
- Expedite confirmation to Talent Acquisition for driver candidates who meet company standards.  
- Complete Driver Status change forms with projected start dates and upload all pre-hire documents into Fleetworthy Comply to initiate DQ files.  
- Work with Talent Acquisition to provide SAP paperwork and retain documents for all non-negative results for applicants.  
- Upload all documents to the SharePoint site for applicants denied employment due to failed MVR assessments.  
- Ensure that applications and all applicable pre-hire documents are current and compliant within 30 days of the start date.  
- Track and report results of the new hire process to ensure transparency and compliance.  
- Perform additional Fleet Safety tasks as directed by Fleet Safety Managers.

Qualifications:  
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance processes.  
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
