Job Overview:

The IT SAP Solutions Architect – Order to Cash (OTC) plays a key role in shaping and delivering end‑to‑end solutions that support the Order‑to‑Cash process across SAP S/4HANA and connected enterprise systems. This position serves as a strategic liaison between business and technology, leveraging strong architectural and system-thinking skills to drive enterprise transformation, enable standardized processes, and design scalable, future‑ready integration solutions.

In this role, the architect collaborates with UNFI IT application teams, system integrator partners, and cross‑functional program workstreams, including Enterprise Architecture, Integration, and Security, to ensure all solutions align with program objectives, architectural standards, and long‑term transformation initiatives

Roles include network automation, infrastructure unification and modernization, data services and analytics, and digital offering. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead architecture, design, and governance of SAP S/4HANA Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) solutions

  • Define end‑to‑end OTC architectures across order capture, fulfillment, billing, taxation, and settlement

  • Design and oversee integrations with SAP modules (SD, FI, MM), third‑party systems, and digital channels

  • Provide architectural leadership for Vistex (pricing, rebates, chargebacks, incentives) and Vertex (tax calculation) solutions

  • Ensure solutions support high‑volume channels including EDI, digital commerce, customer portals, and external partners

  • Partner with business stakeholders, system integrators, and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions

  • Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements

  • Promote clean‑core principles, architectural standards, and continuous improvement

Job Requirements:

Education/Certification:

  •        Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Finance or related fields
  •        SAP Certifications such as System Administration, Finance, or Architecture preferred

Experience:

  •        7+ years of experience in SAP Finance with at least 2 years in Solutions Architecture or lead technical role.
  •        Proven experience in designing and implementing SAP S/4 HANA Finance.
  •        Experience in deployment in complex on-premises and hybrid environment.
  •        Experience in supply chain industry a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Deep SAP S/4HANA experience with strong Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) domain expertise

  • Architecture‑level knowledge of integrations, end‑to‑end process flows, and enterprise systems

  • Experience with Vistex, Vertex, and high‑volume digital and EDI transactions

  • Strong understanding of master and transactional data modeling

  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills

  • Effective communication and presentation skills across technical and business audiences

  • Strong collaboration and relationship‑building skills with the ability to work independently

Remote Role:

  •        This position is classified as remote where the associate will perform remote work from their primary residence. Remote associates are welcome to work from the office but are not required to do so. While remote associates are not required to work from an office on a regular basis, they may be required to come to the office or other UNFI locations for necessary business reasons or if directed to do so by their manager.

Travel (minor):

  •        This position may require the associate to travel to company offices, distribution centers, or other locations for specific meetings or other business reasons.

Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
