Battery Changer - Maintenance
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining the grounds, parking lot and driveways of the facility. May assist the Facility Maintenance team with general repairs.
Essential Functions:
· Repair building equipment to include plumbing, structures, carpentry, dry and wet fire systems, etc.
· Perform preventative maintenance on building equipment to include inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjustments and repairs, etc.
· Perform building modifications to include plumbing, welding, electrical, carpentry, etc.
· Keep accurate records of preventative maintenance and all other work performed.
· Perform other tasks as directed by Supervisor.
· Communicate with Supervisor daily on changes and problems with building equipment.
· Clean work area/ warehouse and equipment.
· Perform other relevant job duties as required.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent related experience.
Experience:
- Two years general maintenance experience.
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
Skills:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical trades, and/or related to building maintenance
- Minimum of five (5) years of plumbing experience is required.
- Required to have own tools.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.

Compensation:
UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
