UNFI of Prescott, Wisconsin, located 24 miles southeast of St. Paul, MN, is hiring for experienced and entry level warehouse associates to join our team.
Job Overview:
A Warehouse Worker uses a power pallet jack to navigate the warehouse to pick orders utilizing a vocollect headset system. You will be responsible for safely and accurately pulling and gathering orders of goods in our warehouse. Additionally, an Order Selector will palletize the orders, shrink wrap the pallets, and place them in the assigned locations.
Pay:
- Starting wage is $21.75/hour with a pay increase to $23.50/hr upon 2 consecutive weeks of hitting productivity
- +$.1.25/hr for 2nd Shift
- +$2.00/hr for Weekends
- +$2.00/hr for Freezer environment (if applicable)
Schedule:
- Sunday plus 4 days during the week; 12:00 (noon) pm start time on Sunday and 2:00 pm start time during the week
- Guaranteed Saturdays off and 1 additional day during the week!
- Average 8.5-10 hour shifts

Position Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Warehouse experience selecting is preferred but not required
- Lifting objects weighing from less than 20 to 60lbs consistently
- Occasionally pushing, reaching, pulling, and gripping
- Must have the ability to work in various temperatures
- Available for work on Sundays
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Identify the pick locations and safely pick the items
- Inspects assigned equipment for safety issues
- Picks the correct item and quantity, checking UPC’s or item descriptions
- Places labels on the side of the cases
- Shrink wraps and labels with correct truck, stop and other required information.
- Stages pallets in appropriate bay and builds a stable pallet
- Immediately informs a supervisor or manager of any potential safety threats, any violation of company policy, keeps area clean and debris out of work area
- Operates pallet jack/pushcart in a safe and efficient manner
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Compensation:
UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
