The starting pay rate is $22.25/hr
- $ 2.00-weekend differential
- Schedule: 11:00 AM start time
- Weekend is a must (Saturday or Sunday)

Job Overview:
Verify correct product and loaded pallets in stop sequence, combining pallets by decking and hand stacking.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Counts, sorts and verify product descriptions and store numbers of items being loaded.
- Examine pallets to ensure they are shrink wrapped correctly.
- Stores product in bins, on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information.
- Reports adjustments to inventory counts, spoilage or damage to stock, location changes, and out of stocks.
- Transports product throughout warehouse via electric pallet jack and/or forklift.
- Maintains loading performance standards of speed and accuracy with minimum damage and maximum safety, while being mindful of weight distribution on the trailer.
- Assists other department personnel in the performance of work activities when peak workloads require or during absences of division personnel.
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age due to equipment operation.
- Prior experience as a shipping, receiving, or stock clerk is highly desirable.
- Must be able to lift cases of various weight and sizes up to 90 pounds.
- Must be able to read labels and make decisions on properly stacking and loading products into trucks.
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Compensation:
UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
