To maintain proper lubrication of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc), and to assist diesel mechanics in minor equipment maintenance and preventative care.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Lube and perform preventive maintenance service on various warehouse equipment
2. Check and maintain proper oil levels
3. Check and maintain proper anti-freeze levels on radiators.
4. Change engine oil, gear lube, fluids, and filters as required by scheduled PM service.
5. Maintain lube and filter inventories and order supplies as needed.
6. Check and maintain proper tire air pressure.
7. Check and maintain batteries, battery waters and battery cables and connections.
8. Maintain lubing of lift gates. Change tires as needed.
9. Any other duties which may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be available to work various shifts and overtime as need
2. Must be able to use hand tools and various equipment required to complete tasks.
3. Ability to keep and maintain accurate log records of maintenance completed
4. Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
5. Knowledge of oil levels and various warehouse machinery.

Compensation:
UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
