Cub Forest Lake is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a full time baker position! Bakers at Cub prepare, bake and fry a variety of products and finish them with frosting, glaze or icing according to item standards to ensure quality and consistency. This position combines craftsmanship with customer service to provide customers with visually appealing and delicious baked goods!
Job Responsibilities:
· Prepare, bake and fry products
· Finish baked or fried product (frost, glaze, icing, etc.)
· Assist in wrapping or bagging product
· Rotate and stock finished product to fill product gaps
· Assist with customer questions or requests
Job Requirements:
· Equipment operation (donut sticks, hopper, fryer, screens, icing warmer, spatula, knives, etc.)
· Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
· Memorization, reading, writing and math
· The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
· Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
· Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
· Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
· Must be 18 years of age and older.
Physical Requirements:
· Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
· Pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs.
· Walking on uneven ground
· Reaching, bending, repetitive motions

Compensation:
UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
