What’s the Job?
As a Warehouse Selector, you'll be responsible for using an electric pallet jack to pick/create orders and help get goods to the right place in the warehouse. Your key duties include:
- Fulfilling customer orders as quickly, accurately, and safely as possible.
- Palletizing orders, shrink-wrapping them, and placing them in the assigned locations.
- Builds stable pallets for delivery.
Schedule
- Full-time, 5 days a week (Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday), with a 9:00 AM start time.
- Overtime is mandatory when needed, offering additional earning potential!
Position Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Warehouse experience is preferred but not required – we’ll train you!
- Ability to consistently lift objects from 20 to 60 lbs.
- Ability to push, reach, pull, and grip.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures.
- Strong attention to safety, cleanliness, and detail.
What You’ll Do, Job Responsibilities:
- Identify pick locations and accurately pick items for orders.
- Inspect and ensure all equipment is safe to use.
- Safely handle and prepare items for shipment, shrink wrapping, and labeling orders.
- Report any safety issues to supervisors immediately and help maintain a clean work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment efficiently and safely.
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Compensation:
UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
