PURPOSE:
Responsible for providing clerical support in the distribution warehouse.
SCHEDULE:
Sunday - Thursday, 5:00pm - 1:30am (rotating Fridays as needed)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare store invoices and billing of store deliveries
- Assign reference numbers to the appropriate routes
- Monitor trip leave times
- Provide customer service assistance to Supervisors
- Look up UPC’s of unidentified REV and Joliet product
- Process delivery receipts
- Plan and prioritize workload to ensure that billing is completed timely for the store deliveries
- Filing pick tickets, exception orders, trip sheets, load controls
- Performs other relevant job duties as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience:
- Previous experience with warehouse/distribution systems preferred
- Previous Accounting/Bill Experience preferred
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:
- Ten-key calculator proficiency
- Computer knowledge and experience a must: online billing & routing
- Good communication & people skills
- Must work well under pressure and deadlines
- Must be available to work holidays
- Must be detail oriented
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/ DEMANDS:
- Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday.
- Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
