- $19.59 per hour starting pay

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A PART OF THE RECEIVING/LOADING TEAM?
In these essential roles, you will work directly with the inventory department, Supervisors and leads to verify quantities of product received and loaded onto trucks at the distribution centers. These roles have a strong understanding of products that we carry, all receiving/loading procedures and back stock. This team ensures that products are in the proper staging locations so we can efficiently receive/load trucks with products accurately while maintaining a clean and safe work area. In this position, you will be using electronic equipment to scan and record required information to ensure inventory accuracy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stocks products, rotating back stock and placing product in the picking line
- Wraps and stages pallets in preparation for truck loading
- Picks orders including cooler and freezer orders as needed
- Assists with stocking inventory
- Maintains cleanliness of warehouse
- General warehouse duties
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Previous warehouse or grocery experience preferred
- Forklift experience helpful
- Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Post offer background check, physical, lifting evaluation and drug screen required
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available

Compensation:
UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
