Job Overview:

The Fresh Data Analyst will develop, design, and create tools and processes that provide key analytics to drive strategic initiatives and decisions for up to $3B of inventory. This position is responsible for using multiple systems and data formats to create efficiencies within process improvement, forecasting, inventory optimization, and automation. The Fresh Data Analyst will partner with cross-functional stakeholders including department leadership within Procurement, IT, Merchandising, Sales, and Operations to identify opportunities and deliver results for internal growth and customer growth. Additional objectives will include owning departmental processes and building, distributing, and maintaining existing reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities 

·       Responsible for creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and insights using tools such as SQL, Alteryx, and PowerBI to provide insightful business recommendations.

·       Query and manipulate large datasets via SQL and Alteryx.

·       Collaborate with stakeholders in Procurement, Merchandising, Sales and Operations to identify opportunities, develop dashboards, and track processes/results through data analysis.

·       Perform complex root cause analysis to resolve potential workflow and database issues.

·       Collaborate across departments to integrate data from multiple sources and understand cross-functional impacts

·       Identify customer requirements, develop testing plans, and track and document development/results

·       Evaluate and measure department inefficiencies and present findings, trends, and business cases to internal stakeholders and leadership

·       Support systems requirements, definition, testing, training, implementation and support

·       Assist in developing self-service reporting tools and standardizing KPIs

·       Improve and enhance existing department reporting through advanced reporting and data visualization techniques

Additional Responsibilities

·       Maintain data integrity and ensure alignment with governance standards—collaborate with key stakeholders including IT to address system upgrades, issues, and project related tasks as assigned.

·       Develop, execute, and document changes to reporting and/or processes

·       Support strategic initiatives within functional areas in partnership with key stakeholders

·       Own and manage department processes as needed (such as internal transfers)

Job Requirements:

Education/ Certifications:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer-Science, Supply Chain, Mathematics, or another related field required

Experience:

·       2+ years of experience in Analytics or other data related field required

·       2+ years of experience with SQL required

·       2+ years of experience with at least one data visualization platform (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) required

·       2+ years of experience with data wrangling, management and ETL required

·       Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

·       Ability to connect with and present to all levels of the organization including senior leadership

·       Must possess strong analytical skills and sound business judgment

·       Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

·       Ability to organize, coordinate, and direct projects

·       Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies

·       Highly motivated, innovative and able to work independently and on teams

·       Ability to successfully navigate in a complex business environment

·       Ability to manage to tight deadlines, multi-task, organize and prioritize work independently

·       Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Work Environment:

Remote Role:

·       This position is classified as remote where the associate will perform remote work from their primary residence. Remote associates are welcome to work from the office but are not required to do so. While remote associates are not required to work from an office on a regular basis, they may be required to come to the office or other UNFI locations for necessary business reasons or if directed to do so by their manager.

Solamente puestos de Ventas: en el caso de los puestos de ventas con base en comisiones, el rango mencionado representa un estimado de la compensación potencial por comisiones durante el primer año de un asociado; pero UNFI ofrece un mínimo de $680 a la semana para el periodo inicial. Después del periodo inicial, por tratarse de un puesto basado totalmente en comisiones, no hay un salario fijo. Los planes de comisiones de UNFI no tienen tope y las ganancias promedio dependen del territorio y de las ventas logradas, entre otros factores.
