Job Overview:
The Sr. Scrum Master-Integrations is responsible for the coordination and monitoring of the integration platform scrum process with a focus on delivery of value in the shortest time with a servant leadership mindset. The overall purpose of this role is to increase team efficiency, increase process improvement and lead cross-functional teams to meet well-defined goals. This role works closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to deliver planned goals. We are seeking a versatile professional who will operate 50% as an Integration Scrum Master and 50% as an Integrations Business Analyst. This hybrid role will support our enterprise integration program across iPaaS and legacy integration platforms, ensuring smooth delivery of integration solutions—from requirements gathering to deployment and status reporting. The ideal candidate understands cross-functional business processes, integration patterns, and can lead both agile ceremonies and detailed requirements documentation.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating getting the work done by defining scope of the sprint and keeping the team aware of progress to complete the planned work
  • Maintain and track Integrations team metrics: velocity, sprint burn-down, release progress, and integration project health.
  • Coordinate integration development, testing, and deployment activities across iPaaS and legacy platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with integration, governance, standards, and release management processes.
  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution utilizing various engagement approaches to meet the need of the team objective
  • Guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organization
  • Facilitating with the other departments to achieve project/release goals for the scrum team
  • Facilitating the removal of impediments by finding the right personnel to engage to take action on the impediment
  • Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices by delivering focused agile process training as needed.
  • Guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organization by providing tools, approaches and experiential learning to the team
  • Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks by leading discussions to implement process improvement
  • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, using various industry standard agile metrics to measure progress
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information internally to drive team process maturity and team progress externally.
  • Assisting and educating the IT Product Manager, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Establishes a Working Agreement, an early Sprint plan and then progressively refines the Product Backlog with the IT Product Manager
  • Conducts Sprint Planning to define scope, groom the backlog with the IT Product Manager and the team and define the Release plan
  • Assists the scrum team to promote clear story writing and product backlog story grooming
  • Facilitates “ceremonies” (planning, retrospectives, reviews, stand-ups)
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather end-to-end integration requirements.
  • Create detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specs, Interface Specs, and mapping documents.
  • Understand upstream/downstream systems, data flows, APIs, batch files, messaging frameworks, and integration dependencies.
  • Track and maintain all integration requirements across projects, ensuring no gaps.
  • Perform impact analysis for new integrations and changes to existing interfaces.
  • Participate in design discussions and ensure business needs are translated into technical deliverables.
  • Support UAT by defining test scenarios, validating interface behaviors, and tracking defects.
  • Provide status reporting for all integration workstreams: progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
