Job Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Partner will create and implement recruiting strategies, conduct activities and efforts for their assigned positions. Primary responsibilities include developing and executing specific sourcing strategies to meet short and long-term goals across corporate function roles, focusing on UNFI's information technology organization. This position is accountable for the sourcing and selection of Manager and above level roles in IT and will also provide support for other corporate functions. This position is responsible for building relationships with internal hiring managers, field and corporate-based Human Resource team members, and industry contacts and sourcing contacts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and leads the execution of innovative and cost-effective recruiting plans, ideally by being involved in the local labor market area.
- Constantly communicates and coordinates with hiring managers to ensure needs are being met and gaps are being filled.
- Serves as talent expert, providing thoughtful analysis and strategies for hiring top talent.
- Understands market conditions for targeted sources.
- Builds effective relationships with external recruiting sources, while working to improve the effectiveness of all sources.
- Enthusiastically and accurately depicts UNFI, our culture and values, while developing an associate advocacy program.
- Owns candidate follow-up from screening to onboarding.
- Understands the details of the specific roles (e.g., compensation, benefits, and other topics) essential to effective recruitment.
- Measures source effectiveness and develops actions for specific recruiting improvement.
- Knows the direct competitors in the market and what job opportunities they have available including benefits, salaries, etc.
- Sources, contacts, qualifies and interviews students and transitioning military veterans.
- Attends recruiting events relevant to developing a talent pipeline.
- Follows UNFI recruiting processes and utilizes the applicant tracking system as specified.

Leads diversity recruiting initiatives and adheres to the Affirmative Action Plan in place for the specified location.
- Leads and assists with projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma with commensurate recruiting experience.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience:
- 3+ years high-volume corporate function recruiting experience required.
- Technical recruiting experience preferred.
- Experience with automated Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Experience conducting Boolean searches and keyword mapping across multiple job titles and tech stacks.
Knowledge:
- Broad knowledge of corporate functional roles, manager level and above.
- Persuasive communication skills, with an eye toward creating a positive impression of the company and the staffing service.

Social media recruiting knowledge required: LinkedIn Recruiter platform, indeed, Glassdoor, etc.

- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
Remote Role:
- This position is classified as remote where the associate will perform remote work from their primary residence. Remote associates are welcome to work from the office but are not required to do so. While remote associates are not required to work from an office on a regular basis, they may be required to come to the office or other UNFI locations for necessary business reasons or if directed to do so by their manager.
Physical Environment/Demands:
- Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
- Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
