Job Overview: 
The Specialist of Platforms & Integrations is responsible for overseeing the systems, data flows, and technical coordination that enable effective merchandising execution. This role resides within Merchandising Capabilities and serves as the primary business lead for merchandising platform performance, system integrations, and cross-functional technical initiatives. 
This individual contributor role ensures core merchandising solutions function efficiently, data flows reliably across interconnected systems, and technical enhancements are appropriately prioritized, coordinated, and delivered. The position partners closely with Information Technology, Merchandising, and external vendors to support operational stability, troubleshoot system and data issues, and represent Merchandising requirements in technical planning and implementation discussions. 
The role requires strong operational ownership, analytical problem-solving, and project leadership to maintain platform effectiveness and support continuous improvement of merchandising capabilities. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Support merchandising and pricing platforms, ensuring systems are operating as expected and data flows reliably. 
• Serve as a business-side resource for system integrations (product feeds, loyalty, marketing, and merchandising tools), troubleshooting issues with IT and vendors. 
• Support and help drive system enhancements, participating in project discussions and representing merchandising needs. 
• Ensure systems enable accurate pricing and promotional execution and identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce manual processes. 
• Performs other duties as assigned. 
   

Job Requirements: 
Education/ Certifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Analytics, or related field 

Experience:  

• 4–7+ years of experience in merchandising systems, eCommerce platforms, or system integrations 
• Experience working with Retail systems preferred 

Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities 

• Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and platform ecosystems 
• Proven ability to lead projects and operate as a business-side representative in technical discussions 
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on execution and operational stability 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment 
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available. 
   

Work Environment: 

• Hybrid Role:  This position follows a hybrid schedule working in office three (3) days per week. The acceptable split between onsite and remote work is determined by the manager. Hybrid associates may choose to work from an office on a more frequent basis than required.

  This position may require the associate to travel to company offices, distribution centers, or other locations for specific meetings or other business reasons.

• Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment. 
• Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.

• Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday. 
• Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in the completion of job duties.
